DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to bring the 15th Annual North Carolina Hot Sauce Contest and Festival to the streets of Downtown Oxford! This event has transformed the community and the downtown into a "Smoking Hot Family Oriented Day" bringing thousands of people into Oxford. With over 273 vendors\, merchants\, and non-profits participating this year\, we encourage you to come out and have a great time!\n\n \n\nOur 2021 event will be bigger and better than ever and all the activities will certainly spice up the blends and texture of downtown's historical streets. There is so much to do this year as the event continues to grow.\n\n \n\n11 am - 5 pm - Festival hours               \n\n11 am - 2 pm - Classic Car Show @ Oxford Parks & Rec\n\n11 am - 1 pm - Love Tribe Band @ Overton Main Stage\n\n1 pm - Hot Sauce Winners Announced\n\n1 pm - 2 pm - Pepper Eating Contest -- Sponsored by Bailey Farms\n\n** New Location** Intersection of Hillsboro and Broad St.\n\n 2 pm - 5 pm - Carolina Soul Band @ Overton Main Stage\n\n11 am - 4:30 pm - Kids activities @ Williamsboro St.\n\n \n\nImportant notice from the City of Oxford Police Department\n\nAnyone over 21 wishing to purchase alcohol must get a wristband at the ID Check tent prior to purchasing.
