DESCRIPTION:At 9 a.m.\, join in the dedication of the Phase III expansion of the GAP.  A ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony will be held to officially open the new park amenities\, which include tennis courts\, sand volleyball courts\, a pavilion area\, a new playground\, a fitness station\, and open play space for cornhole/other activities.\n\n \n\nAt 10 a.m.\, opening ceremonies for the 275th anniversary will kick off a day-long celebration which will include food trucks\, children's activities\, vendors\, entertainment from the amphitheater stage\, a book signing by author Lewis Bowling\, and fun for the entire family. The festivities continue until 4 p.m.\n\n\nCommemorative coins and the newly published book\, Looking Back: 275 Years of Granville County History\,will also be available to purchase. \n\n \n\nCome join us to celebrate both the history and the progress of our home county!
