DESCRIPTION:Murdoch Developmental Center's 5k and Fun Walk & Roll\n\n \n\nCome out and join us Saturday\, October 28\, 2023\, at 9:30 a.m. for our second annual Run MDC 5K\, Fun Walk & Roll\, taking place in the beautiful surroundings of historic Butner\, NC. This timed 5K will start on the campus of Murdoch Developmental Center and wind its way through our scenic campus. The folks that live at MDC will be on site throughout the race to run\, walk\, roll\, and cheer you on! They will provide you with lots of encouragement and motivation!\n\n \n\nThe Run MDC 5k will be a family fun Autumn walk/run for you and friends to enjoy. Our official hashtag is #RUNMDC5K\n\n \n\nAdvisory Note: "This event will raise money to provide supplemental activities and events for the people that live and work at Murdoch Developmental Center."\n\n \n\nMurdoch Developmental Center is one of North Carolina's three Regional Developmental Centers operated by the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities under the Department of Health and Human Services. Murdoch Developmental Center provides comprehensive residential support to individuals with developmental disabilities\, primarily from the Central Region of North Carolina.
