15th Annual Hot Sauce Contest

We are so excited to bring the 15th Annual North Carolina Hot Sauce Contest and Festival to the streets of Downtown Oxford! This event has transformed the community and the downtown into a “Smoking Hot Family Oriented Day” bringing thousands of people into Oxford. With over 273 vendors, merchants, and non-profits participating this year, we encourage you to come out and have a great time!
 
Our 2021 event will be bigger and better than ever and all the activities will certainly spice up the blends and texture of downtown’s historical streets. There is so much to do this year as the event continues to grow.
 
11 am - 5 pm - Festival hours               
11 am - 2 pm - Classic Car Show @ Oxford Parks & Rec
11 am - 1 pm - Love Tribe Band @ Overton Main Stage
1 pm - Hot Sauce Winners Announced
1 pm - 2 pm - Pepper Eating Contest -- Sponsored by Bailey Farms
