Director of Nursing - Public Health Programs

Granville Vance Public Health (GVPH) is seeking an experienced nursing leader to serve as Director of Nursing – Public Health Programs.

This full-time senior leadership position will lead GVPH’s public health nursing and population-based services across Granville and Vance Counties. Reporting to the Health Director, the Director provides leadership for clinical operations, nursing practice, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality public health programs.

The Director oversees a broad portfolio that includes communicable disease and tuberculosis control, STI/HIV services, family planning and reproductive health, immunizations, maternal and child health, care management, school health, home visiting, clinical support to WIC, public health laboratory operations, and emergency preparedness and response.

The position also provides leadership for compliance with applicable NC Division of Public Health requirements and Agreement Addenda, Vaccines for Children (VFC), public health laboratory requirements, and applicable program-specific 340B activities.

GVPH operates across Granville and Vance Counties. This position is based in Oxford, NC, with regular presence at the Vance County location and travel to community sites.
